Pecan & Red Hatch Salsa Macha

Pecan and Red Hatch Salsa Macha is an avocado oil based salsa that pays homage to the great salsa machas throughout Mexico, but through the lens of the Arizona Sonoran Desert. It has all the flavor but none of the heat. I call it 'family friendly'. It features pecans, dried red hatch chiles, twice cooked shallots, and garlic. It is savory with a touch of sweet, and is super addictive. Put it on eggs, avocado toast, ramen, dumplings, cheese, or straight on proteins like chicken or pork.
